Yoneyama Shoten is based in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka — the city at the foot of Mt. Fuji, and the birthplace of one of Japan's most celebrated dishes.
Fujinomiya Yakisoba won Japan's B-1 Grand Prix in both 2006 and 2007. The dish exists only here: the steamed noodles are made exclusively by factories in Fujinomiya, the crispy pork cracklings (nikukasu) come from local lard producers, and the dried sardine powder (dashi-ko) is a finishing touch found nowhere else.
Yoneyama has been delivering this taste since before the internet made it easy — and has been certified as the #1 online seller of Fujinomiya Yakisoba by the Fujinomiya Yakisoba Association, with over 10 million servings shipped across Japan.
We also carry a small selection of other Fujinomiya and Shizuoka specialties — teas, seasonal goods, and local crafts — chosen because they belong alongside the yakisoba, not in spite of it.
