[What is Gyokuro?] Gyokuro is the sprout that is grown from the time it buds (about 15-20 days before harvest)
to the time it is harvested.
The sprouts are covered so that they are not exposed to direct sunlight. By blocking out the sun
, the astringent component is reduced and theanine
increases, giving the tea its distinctive sweetness.

[How to make Gyokuro] Once the water is thoroughly boiled,
let the water cool to 40-50 degrees Celsius (about human skin temperature) and use
Gyokuro. Pour 8-10g (about 3 servings) of tea leaves into a kyusu (teapot), pour in the warm water, and wait 2-2.5 minutes for the water to infuse. Then slowly pour the tea into the teapot.
